Sequel to popular series ‘3X4’ may well be made, Iran comedian Mehran Rajabi says to ifilm.
Rajabi who starred in original ‘3X4’ told ifilm that the sequel is likely to go to pre-production stage, quoting screenwriter of ‘3X4’ Ali Maqsoudi.
Citing popularity of ‘3X4’, he said that “if in comedy series, it is possible to use improvised dialogues and the comic power of artists, the show is naturally successful,” adding, "That is why ‘3X4’ was successful.”
‘3X4’ is a hilarious comedy series which tells the story of Rahman and Sirous, two brothers-in-law who decide to open a cleaning services company to make ends meet and pay for their children’s university tuition. As they do not know much about the job, soon they find themselves caught in various problems, some of which are a bit impossible to solve.
Among the cast list of different episodes are the director Majid Salehi, Anahita Afshar, Mohammad Kasebi, Mehran Rajabi, Shahram Qaedi, Ali Sadeqi, Maryam Soltani, Shohreh Lorestani, Shamsi Fazlollahi, and the late actress Nadia Deldar-Golchin.
